MugSD also wanted to extend an extra special thank you to Aunt Julie in particular (@JulieWalks) for carrying her around Chicago all week and sharing in all of her adventures (and Scooters Custard - NOM!). Aunt Julie had A LOT on her plate, what with co-captaining the huge #3DayTweepsCHI team and all, so for her to make the time to help out MugSD was really awesome. Thank you Aunt Julie!!
Now, onward to the next walk, where MugSD will be joining Jen Carbary (@JenCarbary) and her team “Save the Toucans” as we trample all over Motown, promoting breast cancer awareness!!

MugSD Update: Chicago 3 Day - Day 3!
And last but certainly not least, here are MugSD and Aunt @JulieWalks pictures and tweets from Day 3 of the Chicago 3 Day!! MugSD reports that being a member of the #3DayTweepsCHI has been a supreme highlight of the 2012 season and can’t wait to be with everyone again in Atlanta AND Tampa!! We made it to Holding and were immediately enveloped in a giant, flying banana hug from The Big Banana herself, Miss Nicole, our teammate in Seattle in 2011!! It was SO awesome that all of our #3DayTweepsCHI teammates were there to cheer for us - we felt like REAL celebrities!!!
Now that we made it to holding, which means it’s time for #FlatLauri and I to do my most favorite thing on #the3day: welcoming the other walkers home!! Oh hey, there, Medical dude who fixed up Mr. Tommy’s knees all weekend - thanks for taking care of us!

MugSD Update: Chicago 3 Day - Day 2!
Day 2 dawned bright and early for MugSD, Aunt @JulieWalks and the rest of Da’ Tweeps in Chicago! It was a long day of walking, with lots of great sites to see along the way. They even got to reach with #FlatLauri (a stand in teammate for @60milegirl) in the afternoon! Here are the updates from MugSD and the #3DayTweepsCHI on Day 2 of the Chicago 3 Day:

Second item on our agenda for the day: checking in with Miss Niblette. Aunt Julie said something about Niblette hugs curing sore muscles, so we made sure to get a big dose!

Aunt Julie was overcome with emotion when she found someone on route with boobs bigger than hers!! Ok, maybe she was just talking when they took the picture. Or something. Anyways: HUGE thanks TAG Team for all the support this weekend!
Next stop on the Day 2 route: The Pair Tree!!
The Pair Tree is a VERY important landmark on the Chicago route! We just had to get our picture taken with it!!
YAY!! We made it to lunch, where we ran into PINK SANTA!!! (Which, hmmm… Pink Santa seems awfully familiar…)
Well that explains it! It’s our #3DayTweepsCHI teammate Mike Pink Shoes!!
Back on the route for the second half of Day 2, hanging out with Miss #FlatLauri. I’m pretty sure we overheard Aunt Julie mumbling something about having to do all the work in this relationship, but we just ignored her. Walk strong, Aunt Julie! We’re our own little team here!
Miss #FlatLauri got a sticker! Lucky Miss Lauri. And look! There’s cake at Pit 3!! I could stay at this Pit Stop party all day!!
Meanwhile, back on the route… we stopped for a quick photo with @LilShadetree! The community support, especially from the local police & firemen is spectacular here in Chicago!!

At the end of the #3DayTweepsCHI team dinner the night before the Chicago 3 Day, my teammates and I recorded a VSNAP video shout out to all of our friends and supporters who couldn’t be there with us!! We missed you guys so much!!
Exploring Chicago Before the 3 Day!
After a quick respite during the Cleveland 3 Day, my “stunt double” MugSD was off to Chicago with Aunt @JulieWalks and the rest of the #3DayTweepsCHI team for the Chicago 3 Day! But first, they took some time to explore (and eat!) their way around the city, led by local team mate Miss Laura (aka @LDavis1800). Here’s some highlights from their two days of fun, plus the team dinner on Thursday night!
Ok, we’re here! Let’s go explore Chicago. I recommend that we take this pink colored “L” train, Miss Laura. Do you agree, Miss Val???

Getting Ready for Chicago…
Before they left for the Chicago 3-Day, Aunt @JulieWalks took #MugSD in to work with her for the day to take care of some important last minute business:
I’ve heard this place is a blast! First up: catching up on yesterday’s Olympics results. @60milegirl has me OBSESSED with rowing these days!
Next up: Checking in with my Cleveland #the3day tweeps! No cupcake could keep me from missing them. Happy Day 1!!
And last but not least, Aunt Julie helped me print out my credential!! I’m all ready now for Chicago #the3day next week!!!

MugSD Update: Boston 3 Day - Day 3!
After a wet, stormy night in Boston, MugSD was up early with Miss Alison and her Pit Stop 4 teammates for Day 3!

Aaaahhhh. Walking into Closing Ceremonies where we learned that the Boston walkers and crew raised $3.2 million dollars in the fight against breast cancer!! GO BOSTON!!!!!!!
